Malavika Mohanan recreates Rekha's iconic look from 'Silsila'

'Master' actress Malavika Mohanan is known for her incredible sense of style, which she often expresses through her photoshoots on Instagram. She was recently part of a retro photoshoot, wherein she recreated legendary actress Rekha's look from Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan 1981 starrer 'Silsila'.

"Recreating ‘Silsila’ �� #ForTheLoveOfRekha," she captioned her series of pictures. The pictures feature her recreate Rekha's iconic look in an organza ensemble, with a bunch of red roses in her hands. The actress, who was last seen in Thalapathy Vijay-starrer 'Master' alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea and others, will next be seen in Dhanush's 'Maaran' with director Karthick Naren.

Produced by Sathya Jyothi films, the film has Malavika Mohan playing the female lead. It is believed that Dhanush and Malavika are both playing journalists in this film, which is said to be an emotional action thriller. Dhanush has wrapped up his portions in the Hyderabad schedule which was supposed to be the final schedule of the film.
