A few days ago,
Madhavan
took to his Twitter to announce in a light-hearted manner that he tested positive for
COVID-19
. While he was recuperating from the virus, Madhavan also released the trailer of '
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
' yesterday. The trailer was lauded from all quarters, with wishes pouring in from his friends and colleagues in the industry. Needless to say, Madhavan was happy with all the love that he got for it.
But unfortunately, today, he took to announce that his family members have now been tested positive for the virus. In his post, he said, "Totally overwhelmed and moved by the response to the trailer. I normally reply personally, but last evening at 5pm, like warding of the evil eye, 5 people at home tested Covid + ha ha ha. I was running around trying to sort things out and keep everybody comfortable and safe."
He went on to add, "So very sorry to all my friends and well wishers on Twitter and Insta. I will personally reply to you all as soon as I finish all the tests and medications for the people at home today. We’re all doing super fine and extremely elated with the response -#RocketryTheFilm."
