KV Anand was one of the brilliant filmmakers in Tamil cinema. The cinematographer turned director has delivered several successful films and has given priceless contributions to cinema. The talented filmmaker passed away in April 2021 due to a cardiac arrest and the untimely demise of the actor shocked the entire cinema world. 'Ayan'

KV Anand joined hands with Suriya for his second directorial 'Ayan' and the interesting crime thriller turned out a big hit. The film deals with gold and diamond smuggling, and Suriya sported different looks for his role in the film. Tamannah played the female lead, while Akashdeep Saighal, Prabhu, Karunas, and Renuka played crucial roles. Harris Jayaraj scored the music and the songs for the film have been a huge hit.

'KO'

After delivering a blockbuster, KV Anand delivered another blockbuster 'KO' which was a completely new subject from his previous film. Jiiva played the lead role, while Ajmal, Karthika Nair, and Pia Bajpai played important roles. The film is loaded with twists and turns and had a successful theatrical run as well.

'Anegan'

KV Anand opted to join hands with Dhanush for 'Anegan' and the film dealt with a mythical subject. Amyra Dastur played the female lead, and the gorgeous actress's chemistry with the dynamic actor worked well for the film. Harris Jayaraj scored music for the fourth time for KV Anand's directorial.

'Kavan'

Vijay Sethupathi and KV Anand joined hands for the political thriller 'Kavan' and the film explained how the media plays a key role in society. Madonna Sebastian played the female lead, while T Rajendar, Vikranth, Akashdeep Saigal, Pandiraj, Bose Venkat, Jagan, and Darshana Rajendran played crucial roles. The fresh duo surprised the fans, and KV Anand broke his continuous association with Harris Jayaraj as the film's music was scored by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi.

'Kaappaan'

KV Anand teamed up for the third time with Suriya for the suspense thriller 'Kaappaan' and the 2019 Tamil release deals with a locust attack. Sayyesha, Arya, Mohanlal, and Samuthirakani played important roles, while the film's music was scored by Harris Jayaraj. Suriya impressed fans with his versatile and stylish avatar. But the film got more popular when the locust attack happened in real life in 2020.
