Kanguva: Makers of the Suriya starrer to drop the first single 'Fire Song' on his 49th birthday

Suriya starrer 'Kanguva' is one of the most awaited films of 2024, and now the makers have announced the release date of the first single from the film. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the movie also features Disha Patani and Bobby Deol in key roles.

The makers have released a poster depicting Suriya in a rebellious mood against the backdrop of a fiery breakout. The first single, 'Fire Song,' will be released on July 23, on the occasion of Suriya's birthday. This song is composed by National Award winner Devi Sri Prasad.


While sharing the poster, they wrote, "Buckle up #Kanguva army! #FireSong from #Kanguva is all set to release on 23rd July. #KanguvaFromOct10."

On Suriya's 48th birthday last year, fans were treated to their first glimpse of him displaying a fierce readiness to confront his adversaries. Similarly, in January, the makers dropped the debut look of Bobby Deol from the film.

'Kanguva' is set to unfold as a two-part epic, with the first installment concluding on a cliffhanger to set the stage for its sequel. The script for 'Kanguva Part 2' is currently under development, with filming scheduled to commence by late 2025 or early 2026. The film will debut in 3D across 10 languages. It also features Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, and B. S. Avinash.
