Kamal Haasan's next is Tipu Sultan?

Even while Kamal Haasan is busy with the post production of his three films Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Vishwaroopam 2, there have been various reports about the star's next film. These three films are set to hit the screens in a span of two months giving the Ulaganayagan back to back release after decades.

The latest buzz about Kamal Haasan's next film is that the handsome hero who turned 60 recently is raring to work in a historical film.It is said the film is based on the life history of the legendary king Tipu Sultan. It is believed that the groundwork for this film has commenced already with Kamal Haasan, who would also be directing the film scouting locations in Australia.

It is to be noted that Kamal had earlier started off ' Marudhanayagam', which was put in cold storage several years ago owing to financial crises. The period film, which revolves around the life of the 18th century warrior Mohammad Yusuf Khan, was expected to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. Though the film kick-started in 1997, it was shelved due to various reasons.
