‘Jil Jung Juk’ director Deeraj Vaidy joins the crew of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Thalapathy 67’

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is now all set to begin the work for his upcoming film ‘Thalapathy 67’ featuring Vijay in the lead role. The movie went on floors earlier this month with a muhurat pujah and the shooting for the same is said to begin in January 2023. New reports suggest that director Deeraj Vaidy of the ‘Jil Jung Juk’ fame will be joining the crew of ‘Thalapathy 67’ to co-write the dialogues. Reportedly, director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently in a chat with a critic revealed the information.

Earlier, it was announced that director Rathna, who is an associate and a good friend of Lokesh Kanagaraj will also be working on the film. It is also to be noted that director Gautham Vasudev Menon also confirmed that he will be acting in ‘Thalapathy 67’.

Lokesh Kanagaraj earlier announced that the official announcement regarding the film will be made after the release of ‘Varisu’. Vijay is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Varisu’ on January 12, 2023. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role and the movie will be clashing at the box office with Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’.
