Director Karthik Subbaraj's much awaited'Jigarthanda Double X' starring Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah in the lead roles has released today on November 10, 2023. Interestingly, director Karthik Subbaraj, Raghava Lawrence, SJ Suryah and music composer Santhosh Narayanan watched the FDFS of the film along with the fans at the popular Vetri Theatre in Chennai.

'Jigarthanda Double X' also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Naveen Chandra, and Shine Tom Chacko in pivotal roles. A prequel to the blockbuster Jigarthanda (2014), the film has released in multiple languages ahead of Diwali on November 10.
The film is about a filmmaker and a gangster in 1975, who made a film together, with SJ Suryah apparently playing the filmmaker and Ragahav Lawrence, the gangster. The twists and turns and the final product of the film forms the crux of the story.
While the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan, the technical team includes cinematography by S Thirunavukkarasu and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
