Jai, Shahzahn will sizzle Kanimozhi!

Director Sripathy is busy shuttling between Madurai and Chennai. Reason? He is shooting a song for his directorial debut Kanimozhi, starring Jai and Shazahn Padamsee (of Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year fame). The film marks Shahzahn���������s debut in Kollywood.
���������I will complete the song in just two days and after that, we will start post-production work,��������� he says.Kanimozhi is special to him in many ways. ���������This is my debut venture and we have finished shooting for it in just 47 days. When producer T Siva okayed my script, I didn���������t promise him that I would finish shooting in such a short span. But, I wanted to finish this project soon because it didn���������t require much time,��������� he says.
However, this doesn���������t mean he has compromised on the quality of the film. ���������I have used only natural light to shoot for this film and I���������ve recorded it using sync sound. We will be dubbing only for Shahzahn���������s character; everyone else has done live recording,��������� he says.
What���������s more, the director has announced the release date of his film even before getting started on the post-production work.���������The movie will definitely hit the screens on August 5. We will have the audio launch in mid-July,��������� he informs.
Sripathy is also all praise for his cast and crew. ���������Jai and Shahzahn share a sizzling chemistry in the movie. I���������m very happy with the way Kanimozhi has turned out,��������� he signs off.
