recently and the team is ready with the teaser of the film. We already reported that Bagheera will have five heroines, but only Amyra Dastur is known to be part of the film. The latest is that Janani Iyer is playing one of the female leads in the film. The actress has now revealed the news to us exclusively.

Janani talking to us revealed, she plays a

modern girl

from Hyderabad in the film. “Aadik got in touch with me, when he spoke to me he said I will look different in the film. If you watched the teaser you would know I have a different hair colour in the film. I play a modern girl from Hyderabad, you will see a Janani which you have not seen in any of the films. The character is not glamorous, but she is a modern girl. As soon as I listened to the story I wanted to be part of it.”

She adds, “It’s a mystery-thriller film. I have watched a lot of films of Prabhudheva sir, I have grown liking his dance, he has been in the industry for such a long time. It was a huge thing when I heard that I am working with him. It was an additional thing for me to say yes to the film. When I was paired up with him, I was nervous. I had no idea how he would be on sets, I was scared to act with him, but it was completely opposite to what I thought. He was very chilled out on sets and made me feel extremely comfortable on the sets. The way he is grounded after reaching such heights in the industry is one thing everyone should learn from him. Overall, it was a different feeling to work in the film, it’s a different genre, of course I have worked in thrillers like Thegidi, but this has all commercial elements, it’s a complete package.”
