Hollywood's Avvai Shanmugi dies at 63
Hollywood actor Robin Williams, whose stellar performance in and as Mrs Doubtfire was an inspiration for Kamal Haasan's 'Avvai Shanmugi' was found dead at age 63 on Monday from an apparent suicide at his home in Northern California. While an investigation into the cause of the death is underway, the authorites suspect the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia as Robin has been battling severe depression of late.
Some of the most super hit films of the actor include Flubber, Mrs Doubtfire and Jumanji among others. In the past he had talked, and even joked, about his struggles with alcohol and drugs. Robin Williams won an Oscar for his role in Good Will Hunting.
