'Parthiveeran' - 2007

As a son of veteran actor Sivakumar, Karthi made an astonishing debut with the film 'Parthiveeran', which was directed by Ameer. The romantic rural drama made Karthi popular, and the star won many awards for his performance. The film ran for more than one year in theatres and became an enormous hit at the box office. Priyamani played the lead role opposite Karthi, while Ponvannan, Saravanan, Ganja Karuppu, Sampath Raj, and Sujatha Sivakumar played supporting roles.

'Aayirathil Oruvan' - 2010

After the notable debut, Karthi again stunned everyone with his second film 'Aayirathil Oruvan', which was directed by Selvaraghavan. Karthi's adventurous journey with Andrea Jeremiah and Reema Sen was critically acclaimed. The film slowly won the minds of the audience, and they have been waiting eagerly to witness its sequel. R Parthiepan played the role of a Chola King, and the music of the film was scored by GV Prakash Kumar.

'Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru' - 2017

Karthi played the role of a cop for the second in the film 'Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru' after the super hit film 'Siruthai'. But this time the actor was as an honest police officer for full time and his fight against ruthless thieves was an interesting one to watch. The story of the film is based on true events from the Operation Bawaria case, and director H Vinoth earned a place for himself in the industry.

'Kadaikutty Singam' - 2018

Karthi played the role of a farmer, who has a great love for his family in 'Kadaikutty Singam'. Karthi gave his best to the role and grabbed the audience's attention. 'Kaithi' - 2019

Karthi played the role of a father who comes to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. But he attempts to save a group of police officers from gangsters while en route to meet his. Karthi's fight scenes in the film were well received, and the film turned as the blockbuster hit of the star. The action thriller, which was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features Narain and Dheena in key roles, and it has music scored by Sam CS.
