Happy Birthday, Chiyaan Vikram! Five films that prove why the 'Thangalaan' star is the most versatile actor

Chiyaan Vikram, the popular South Asian actor, is famous for playing versatile roles, and he has proven his skills through his roles in multiple films. By bagging the National Award and Filmfare Award multiple times and several prestigious awards, Chiyaan Vikram has an amazing list of accolades, and he is an inspiration for many. Chiyaan Vikram loves to sport different looks for his films, and this made him a special star among others. Chiyaan Vikram is celebrating his birthday today (April 17), while fans and friends of the actor have surfaced on social media by pouring in wishes for the beloved actor. 'Sethu'

Bala's directorial 'Sethu' is an important film in Chiyaan Vikram's career since it gave a break to the talented actor. Vikram sported two different looks for the romantic drama, while he worked really hard for his bald head look in the film's second half. Vikram, who looks fair and charming, stood in sunlight for hours a day to sport the tanned look in Bala's directorial 'Sethu'. The incredible hard work paid off, and 'Sethu' transformed into the first box office hit of Vikram.

'Kasi'

Chiyaan Vikram played a blind man in 'Kasi', which was written and directed by Vinayan, and the film was a remake of the director's own Malayalam film 'Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum'. Vikram went the extra mile to deliver the best for the remake, and he took tips from some visually challenged people to match his role in the film. Vikram's great effort was clearly visible through his performance, but the film failed to develop into a good one at the box office.

'Pithamagan''

After 'Sethu', Vikram once again joined hands with director Bala for 'Pithamagan', and he decided to dedicate himself purely to the director, who gave him the break. Bala's raw filmmaking and Vikram's pure dedication to his character in 'Pithamagan' transformed into the reasons for the film's success. Vikram impressed fans through his reactions in the dialogue-less role, while he tanned his skin tone and got beaten with a broomstick for the film's climax portion.

'Anniyan'

Chiyaan Vikram joined hands with director Shankar for 'Anniyan', and the film was one of the biggest hits in the actor's career. Vikram played a character of three different shades, and every presentation gave a fresh feel to the audience. Vikram nailed the character with his amazing skills, and it's surely the irreplaceable role of the actor.

'I'

After the blockbuster 'Anniyan', Vikram teamed up again with Shankar for 'I', and the film took an extended time for production. It's because of Chiyaan Vikram's transformation in the film. From playing a perfect bodybuilder to a charming model to an ill hunchback, Vikram stunned fans with his physical transformation, and he raised the question of whether an actor will work this hard for a film through his immense hard work. 'I' is Vikram's best at the box office to date, and he is expected to break the record soon.
