Thalapathy Vijay’s latest action drama, 'The Greatest of All Time (GOAT)', has completed 8 days at the box office, grossing a total of Rs 178 crore by the end of its first week. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has entered its second weekend. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, it earned Rs 6.50 crore on day 9.
With the day 9 collection, the film's total has now reached Rs 184.50 crore in India. On its second Friday in theaters, the film had a decent occupancy rate of 33.07 percent for the Tamil version, while the Hindi and Telugu versions had 9.21percent and 9.76 percent occupancy rates, respectively.
'GOAT' features Thalapathy Vijay in a dual role and also stars Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Meenakshii Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, the makers of 'Thalapathy 69', which will be his final film before entering full-time politics, are set to make an official announcement about the project today at 5 PM. The film will be directed by H. Vinoth.
