‘Ghajinikanth’ trailer: Arya’s film promises to be a fun ride

As reported earlier, the makers of ‘Ghajinikanth’ have released the theatrical trailer on the occasion of Thala Ajith Kumar’s birthday today. The trailer begins with a voiceover of Arya who introduces himself, just like Ajith Kumar from ‘Vivegam’.
In the film, Arya plays a die-hard fan of Rajinikanth, who also suffers from memory loss. Hence, he’s called Ghajinikanth.Actress Sayyeshaa has been roped in to play Arya’s love interest in the film. Though the trailer doesn’t say much, ‘Ghajinikanth’ is likely to strike a chord with the audiences.
Touted to be a comedy-drama, ‘Ghajinikanth’ is directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar of ‘Hara Hara Mahadevaki’ fame. Produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, ‘Ghajinikanth’ also stars, Naren, Sampath Raj, Sathish, Rajendran and Karunakaran in supporting roles. The film has music by Balamurali Babu and is slated to release later this year.
On the work front, Arya, who recently made his small screen debut, has many projects lined up for a release this year.
