The Tamil film industry has cancelled the shoot of all films today on the occasion of Ilaiyaraaja75. The
Tamil Film Producers Council
has organised a grand felicitation to honour maestro Ilaiyaraja at the YMCA Ground in Nandanam. Bigwigs in the industry including Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are expected to attend the event.
Academy Award winning music composer AR Rahman, who graced the occasion, yesterday also took the stage to perform along with
Ilaiyaraaja. While maestro Ilaiyaraja rendered the evergreen melodious number, Mandram Vantha Thendralukku from Mouna Ragam, Rahman played the keyboard. Amid all this, veteran actor
