'Draupathi 2' to 'With Love': FIVE anticipated upcoming Tamil OTT releases in March

After their theatrical runs and festival premieres, several Tamil films are now gearing up for their digital debut. From powerful historical drama and experimental silent films to teenage rom-dramas and edge-of-the-seat thrillers, the varied genres promise a lot of entertainment to OTT viewers. The lack of dialogue and a superior mode of storytelling may allow the film to find a broad and selective audience on OTT. ZEE5 has acquired the OTT rights to 'Gandhi Talks,' but the film's OTT release date is yet to be announced.

Directed by first-timer Murali Krish, it stars Attakathi Dinesh, Reshma Venkatesh, and Madhunika. It is a low-budget movie from a new director and cast. But the film failed to perform well at the box office. The digital platform for 'Karuppu Pulsar' is not yet locked, and the film is likely to gain better reach after its OTT release. The Attakathi Dinesh starrer might connect with audiences who prefer discovering new talent, and it has runtime less than 2 hours.

Directed by AR Jeeva, the film stars Anupama Parameswaran along with Charlie and Livingston. It premiered at IFFI Goa and was later released theatrically in January 2026, where it was poorly received. However, Anupama’s performance and the climax received praise from audiences and critics. With a runtime of 2 hours, the thriller story and Anupama’s performance may help the film gain a second life on streaming.

After screening in theaters as a blockbuster motion picture, the romantic comedy-drama attracted many stars, with Rajinikanth as the center of attraction. The story of young teens in love and young couples will appeal to the younger generation visiting online sites. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 21 minutes.
