Karthik Subbaraj's team kick-started work on their project with
Dhanush in April with auditions that was held in Madurai. While it was announced recently that Scottish actor James Cosmo of Braveheart, Troy and Game of Thrones fame is part of the cast, the team has begun shooting for the film tentatively called '
D40
' in London today.

and Reliance Entertainment, the gangster-thriller will be entirely filmed in the United Kingdom with Aishwarya Lekshmi playing the female lead. Producer

is also in London doing a location recce at Canary Wharf, a commercial district in East London.
While James Cosmo might be playing lead villain in the film, Santhosh Narayan has been roped in to compose music.
