Buzz: 'Cobra' to become Vikram's career-high day 1 collection

Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' has hit theatres across the globe, and, the latest report suggests that the film will become Vikram's career-high day 1 collection. The three years of a wait got over as 'Cobra' has hit the big screens today, on the occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi. The psychological thriller has been released on 500+ screens in Tamil Nadu, while the overall screen count is said to be over 1300. The positive reviews have been pouring in for the film, and the film is expected to gross over Rs 10 crores in Tamil Nadu, which will be the highest number for Chiyaan Vikram surpassing the actor's previous best 'I' (Rs 9.6 crores).

'Cobra' day 1 worldwide collection is expected to be around Rs 20 crores, and the film is set to achieve big at the box office with the extended first weekend of five days. Also, the film might top positions in the list of highest-grossing films in 2022.

Vikram plays a mathematician in 'Cobra', and the film explains that every action has a mathematical reaction behind it.
