Anything for cinema: Lakshmy

Actress Lakshmy, who shot to fame with her role in Poi Solla Porom, is quite excited about her role in Mysskin���������s Yuddham Sei.
���������It���������s a once-in-a-lifetime role. I was always passionate about cinema and it���������s a pleasure working for someone who breathes cinema. Mysskin is a wonderful director and I learnt a lot from him about filmmaking,��������� she begins.
The actress was so impressed with the sketch of her character that she agreed to tonsure her head for the role without having any second thoughts.���������My role in the film required me to go bald. And I had no issues because I was willing to go to any extent to look the part. The film revolves around eight characters and all have equal importance,��������� says she.
Lakshmy has just finished shooting for Rajesh���������s Boss Engira Baskaran. ���������I play Arya���������s mother in the film. I���������ve also finished shooting for Naan Mahan Alla, Kanimozhi and Aanmai Thavarel. I will soon begin work on Jayendra���������s bilingual Putham Pudhu Kaalai (180 in Telugu) with Siddharth, and Rowthiram with Jiiva,��������� she adds.
Meanwhile, the actress is also busy with her directorial debut. ���������The film will star Abinaya (of Nadodigal fame) and Shiva Karthikeyan. The hero is yet to be finalised. We have finished shooting for the trailer. Cinematographer Randy Rathnavelu, who���������s handled cinematography for Endhiran, has agreed in principle to wield the camera and I���������m waiting for his dates. We should start rolling soon,��������� she signs off.
