Directed by Charukesh Shekhar, the Netflix series 'Legacy' focuses on the concepts of power, morality, and revenge. In the recently released poster, Gulshan Devaiah appears menacingly in the role of a tough cop. He talks about how this character appealed to him in a chat with Mid-day. “After working in Hindi films for about 14 years, now I am ready to take a new flight,” says Gulshan Devaiah enthusiastically. 'Legacy' offers a new language experience in my life. I play a police officer who is trying to juggle the responsibilities of his job, family, and personal life. That frustration, that conflict, was a challenge for me," he said.

Gulshan Devaiah said that it was an honor to work on the same screen with such talented actors and added, “It is a lesson to work with experienced actors like Madhavan, Nimisha Sajayan, Abhishek, Gautham Karthik, and Vaiyapuri. They all acted with so much passion, I felt like I had to give my best performance," he said.

This is his first major venture in Tamil. Gulshan Devaiah, who has been praised for his unique choice of characters in Bollywood, is now starting to make his mark in South Indian languages. Fans are eagerly awaiting how he will be received by Tamil audiences through the 'Legacy' web series.
