Aadhav, who plays an archaeologist in the film, says, “The film is more of a psychological thriller and not a regular horror film. We all know what is above us, but what is beneath us? There is a dark side to earth and the human race. This film will delve into that.”

Suresh Menon and Subbu Panchu, too, play pivotal roles in the film. Bharani says that the film explores the subject of hidden civilisations.

“Aadhav and Subbu play archaeologists, who try to solve some mysteries surrounding their town. Vani’s role is crucial, as the mystery begins and ends around her character,” says the director. The team had begun shooting before the lockdown, in places like Coimbatore, Ooty and Chennai. A thrilled Vani says, “I’m happy to play a role that’s not run-of-the-mill. I’m looking forward to resuming shoot, whenever we are allowed to.”
