A new role for Vikram Prabhu

Vikram Prabhu has signed on an action thriller-cum-family drama that will be directed by Karthik Chowdary, a debutant who studied filmmaking in New York Film Academy, and assisted Tollywood filmmaker Boyapati Srinu. Titled Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku, the film will go on floors in April.
“It will be a totally new role for Vikram Prabhu, and his characterisation is what drives the story.In fact, talking about it will reveal the story’s surprise,” says Karthik, who made a demo film of this story to get the actor’s approval.
He is now finalising the cast for his film. “We are looking at a couple of heroines to play the female lead,” he adds. Meanwhile, the debutant has finalised his crew. Mani Sharma’s son, Mahati Swara Sagar, is composing the music for this film while Suresh Bhargav, who has assisted Balu Mahendra, is the cinematographer. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, who edited the Bãhubali films, has been roped in as the editor.
