'Vaalee'

Ajith played a dual role as a hero and villain in the romantic thriller 'Vaalee'. The film was directed by SJ Suryah. Ajith stunned everyone with two different characters, and he also bagged the Filmfare award for Best Actor. This film of Ajith is a favorite for many, and he taught some lessons for an actor while playing a dual role as twin brothers.

'Varalaru'

After a few dual roles and challenging roles, Ajith played a triple role in 'Varalaru', which was directed by KS Ravikumar. Ajith played the role of a father and his two sons. And all the three characters are different from each other. Ajith played a classical dancer, a carefree youngster, and a young man in the film. He proved that he can display variation in the looks of his characters, and he is one among the rare actors to appear in a triple role in the same frame.

'Mankatha'

'Mankatha' is a special film in Ajith's career as it marked the actor's 50th film, and he joined hands with director Venkat Prabhu for the film. Ajith played a character of negative shade in the important film and surprised fans with it. But successfully, 'Mankatha' turned out to be Ajith's biggest hit, and he clarified that he can rock with a negative character too.

'Veeram'

Ajith played as an elder brother of three in the action drama 'Veeram', and appeared in a salt and pepper look. Ajith appeared naturally as he looks in real life, and impressed the fans with his rural avatar. This grey hair look of Ajith is a favorite for many, and he continued to appear with the same look as it worked well for him.

'Nerkonda Paarvai'

Ajith, who loves to take up challenges, reprised the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the Tamil remake of the Bollywood star's superhit film 'Pink'. Ajith performed well as he replaced Big B’s shoes, and he outperformed the Bollywood Superstar in a few scenes. Ajith played a lawyer in the court drama, and the film was a good hit at the box office too.
