'Thimiru' is one of the super hit action dramas in Tamil cinema, and the film features Vishal and Reema Sen in lead roles. After delivering two straight super hit films, Vishal hit a hattrick with the action drama 'Thimiru', which was directed by Tarun Gopi. The film was set in two different cities, and it's about a medical student, who faces sudden twists in life due to his anger. 'Thimiru' is completing 15 years of its release today and here is a look at the five top stars from Vishal's action drama.

Ganesh (Vishal)

Ganesh (Vishal) played a medical student, who desires to become a doctor. But Ganesh lands in trouble after raising his voice for social cause support of a woman and struggles to complete his degree. Ganesh then escapes from the gangsters to finish his studies. As an angry young man and a calm student, Ganesh displayed two different characters, and he bagged few awards.

Srimathy (Reema Sen)

Srimathy (Reema Sen) played the role of a beautiful young girl in the film. Srimathy is also a psychology student who takes notes about the nature of men. Srimathy gets help from Ganesh at the needed time to save her dignity. Srimathy (Reema Sen) then falls in love with Ganesh (Vishal), and it's her second film with Vishal after the super hit 'Chellame'.

Easwari (Sriya Reddy)

Easwari (Sriya Reddy) played a bold character as the sister of two gangsters in the film. She gets slammed by Ganesh (Vishal) for taunting Reema Sen in public. Easwari then falls in love with Ganesh because of his brave nature and tries to win his heart. But she fails in her game and loses her life.

Warden Vallaran (Vadivelu)

Being an action thriller, the film was moving so seriously. But Warden Vallaran (Vadivelu) character brought some comedy and made fans relax. Vadivelu, who easily brings laughter among fans, followed his own style and delivered a good pack of comedies to make the action drama into an action entertainer.

Yuvan Shankar Raja

Apart from actors, Yuvan Shankar Raja has given power-packed background music to make the action scenes more powerful one. Also, the composer had given a good mixture of songs, and it's his second film with Vishal after 'Sandakozhi'. Yuvan Shankar Raja turned out as the favorite composer for Vishal after the success of ‘Thimiru’.
