The action entertainer has breached the 300 crore mark as expected and grossed close to Rs 320 crores worldwide. The Tamil Nadu collection of the film has broken all previous records to become the no 1 film in the state. 'Vikram' box office numbers in Kerala and the US are huge, while the film has reportedly grossed Rs 35+ crores and Rs 30 crores respectively.
Kamal Haasan has displayed a fiery avatar connection to his 1986 Tamil film 'Vikram', while the director Lokesh Kangaraj has built a multiverse concept by bringing in stars across his movies. 'Vikram' is now transformed into a franchise, and the film will continue to have sequels.
