Synopsis
Ore Kadal has a unique story line giving the film its difference.It tells the story of a special relationship between a economist/thinker and a housewife. Mammooty brings to life the economist and thinker on screen. His versatility is evident in portraying a special intellectual character who finds no special meaning for intimate human relationships in life. But through different situations in the story, he gets involved with a woman who is already married. This relationship develops and strays beyond social norms. This illegitimate liaison haunts the woman and the mighty intellectual is swayed by a relationship for the first time in his life.
When Mammooty dons the intellect’s attire, Meera Jasmine lives through the housewife. Both are extremely proficient actors and have contributed their full capacity in this film. Though renowned for accepting bold subjects in films, it is yet to know how the hypocritical malayalee society would react to this subject.
Ore Kadal is surely bringing out a story deviant from the normally accepted family story. This film will come to theaters in Kerala by 4th July.
