‘Yuvan’s music is a big plus’

She might be based out of Bangalore, but actress Hashika says it’s Kollywood where she wants to prove her mettle first.
The girl, whose debut flick is all set to release this month, has already signed up two more projects in Tamil, apart from a few more in Telugu and Kannada.
“Shankar Oor Rajapalayam is my debut film and it’s being directed by Veera.I play a homely girl from a rich family. The film is based on caste issues and it is likely to release by September 30,” says Hashika.
She is currently shooting for Akhilapuram with director Sivan. “He’s an associate of Bala sir and I believe his film is also seeped into reality, just like Bala’s projects,” she says and adds,
“Another film I’m excited about is Vamsi. It is being directed by Joe and stars actors like Raguman and Kovai Sarala. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and we will be shooting one of the duet numbers in a film city in Hyderabad. Another number will be shot in a foreign location. I love all the numbers tuned by Yuvan, especially the duet and pathos numbers. I think Yuvan’s music is a major plus for any film.”
Hashika has also signed Ekdum with Vinod in Telugu and two more projects in Kannada with “top actors”.
