Mamta, Jayaram reunite as doctors

Though Mamta-Jayaram superhit Katha Thudarunnuonly had the pretty lady playing the role of a doctor, their next venture will have both the actors donning the white coat.
Jayaram plays a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon while Mamta stars as his physician wife in K K Rajeev's big screen debut Njanum Ente Familyum.
The movie also marks the foray of another small screen director to Mollywood.Jayaram had suggested the name of Rajeev, who had helmed Peythozhiyathe, Swapnamand Amma Manassu, due to his experience in directing serials with family plots.
As the name hints, the film revolves around Jayaram's character Dr Dinanathan and his family consisting of wife and two children. Dr Dinanathan is a gifted surgeon who has patients thronging to consult him at his home and office.
He believes in the social responsibility the job entails and is also a good family man. However, problems start to brew in the family after Mythili's character Sophia, a patient, enters into their lives.
The movie is scripted by Cherian Kalpakavadi and will also star Nedumudi Venu, Manoj K Jayan and Jagathy. Produced by Seven Arts Vijayakumar, Chennai and Palghat are the main locations for the movie.
