Deiva Thirumagal gets 'U' certificate

Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ has been censored and awarded a U certificate. The Censor Board officials were pleased with the film and congratulated director AL Vijay for making such a great movie and Vikram for his wonderful performance.
‘Deiva Thirumagal’ underwent its share of controversy over the title and the filmmakers decided to change the title from Thirumagan to Thirumagal.Owing to this, there was a talk that some scenes in the film might also turn out to be controversial.
But the Censor Board officials did not place their scissors anywhere in the film as the director had handled the subject very well. There are expectations that ‘Deiva Thirumagal’ could earn Vikram laurels and awards as well. The film’s release will be on July 15th 2011.
