Audio craze in Kollywood

Kollywood has been seeing, making and breaking trends. And the recent one revolves around audio launches!
Today, an audio launch of a movie in itself has become a promotional campaign for the film, defined by glitz and glamour.
Interestingly, the audio of two big movies are to be launched this month. The first will be producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu���s Kanthasamy, directed by Susi Ganeshan. Apparently, Dhanu has convinced a top Bollywood actor to take part in the launch, which will be held at the Chennai Trade Centre on May 17. Vikram, Shriya and a few Italian dancers, along with the film���s music director Devi Sri Prasad, will perform live at the function, which will also be telecast live.
A week later, on May 24, the audio of Selvaraghavan���s Aayirathil Oruvan, which has been in the making for quite a while, will also be launched with hype and hoopla. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan might also preside over the function!
Now, isn���t that some trend?
