Musical alert: Punjabi songs that will hit your speakers this week

The second week of September started on a musical note with the release of ‘Gallan Teriya’ from the movie ‘Qismat’. The song is a proper bhangra track that is sure to make even non-dancers shake a leg. Now, this is just the beginning, there are more tracks coming your way this week. Scroll down to know about the Punjabi songs that will try to pitch into your playlist this week:

2/6

‘Dil Nahion Torhida’

After the success of ‘Udaarian’, Satinder Sartaaj is ready to hook the audience with another melody ‘Dil Nahion Torhida’. This is another song coming out from the album ‘Seasons of Sartaaj.’ The track has been slated to release today i.e. 17th September. Satinder Sartaaj has given vocals and lyrics to the track, while the music has been given by Jatinder Shah. The teaser of the same has been released and it appears the song will be from the genre of Punjabi love ballads.

3/6

‘Satt Bande’

Day two of this week will witness the release of the song ‘Satt Bande’. The track is from the soundtrack of Kulwinder Billa and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer ‘Parahuna’. From the poster, it seems the song will be a dance number, which will be completely different from ‘Tich Button’, the first love ballad from the movie. The vocals to the track have been given by Rajvir Jawanda and Tanishq Kaur. Music Nasha has worked on the music and Dharambir Bhangu has penned the lyrics.

4/6

‘Khadoos’

19th September i.e. the third day of the week will mark the release of ‘Khadoos’. The poster of the same has been released. Tarsem Jassar has given vocals and lyrics to the song, while the music has been provided by R-Guru. From the poster, the song seems to be peppy-romantic number wherein the girl complains about Tarsem being ‘Khadoos’. On the filmy front, Tarsem Jassar will soon be seen in the movie 'Afsar' releasing on 5th October.

5/6

‘Weekend’

Another song that will hit the speakers on 19th September is ‘Weekend’ by Ranjit Bawa. The duo of Snappy Gill and Rav Hanjra has worked on the music and lyrics respectively. ‘Weekend’ is the first song Ranjit Bawa is releasing post his movie ‘Mr & Mrs 420 Returns’. From the first look, it appears the song will have upbeat music and some catchy lyrics. The poster also features some of Dubai’s popular tourist spots, which hints at some surprises being concealed.
