Yes, the Punjabi model-actor-singer did her +2 in Medical Science with Maths as an additional subject. Though Himanshi has a phobia of needles and she knew that she would not be pursuing medical as a full-fledged career, she studied the subject because her dad wanted her to. Post her schooling, she did graduation in aviation, dropped out of masters after a year and ventured into the Punjabi music industry. The rest is obviously a history.

For all those who are wondering that what was Himanshi Khurana’s first step towards the world of fame, here’s the answer. She participated in a beauty pageant in Ludhiyana and was crowned the winner. Thereafter, things started falling in place for her. Recalling the days of the pageant, Himanshi says that she wasn’t really serious during the photoshoots and sent pictures just in a sporty spirit. After winning the beauty pageant, Himanshi Khurana came to Delhi for modeling assignments. She became the face of many renowned brands. The girl came to the capital with only one philosophy - quality over quantity. She was ok to get less but good work. Himanshi Khurana reportedly never did any stock shoots during her modeling days.

When Himanshi Khurana finally decided to make her way into the world of Punjabi music videos, she reportedly had to make a choice between two artists, Mehsopuria and Kuldeep Manak. Though back in those days Punjabi music videos weren’t much rage, Kuldeep Manak was a name people used to swear by. So, Himanshi made her choice and did her debut in ‘Jodi - Big Day Party’ ft. Kuldeep Manak, in 2010. It’s been eight years now, and Himashi Khurana has done approx 35 music videos so far and with every work of hers, she has only garnered more love and fame.

Himanshi Khurana always had an inclination towards the field of singing. She initially kept it as a hobby, but this year the actor-model decided to get serious with her singing. Thus, she officially released her first Punjabi song ‘High Standard’. Packed with utmost swag, the song was written by Rav Hanjra and music to the same was given by Snappy Gill.
