Beat Boi Deep’s musical journey: From learning music production online to creating songs that touch millions of views - ExclusiveBeat Boi Deep’s musical journey: From learning music production online to creating songs that touch millions of views - Exclusive

Punjabi musical artist Beat Boi Deep who has given songs like ‘Nazare Nazare’, ‘Desi Lahan’, ‘Baapu Di Ladli’, and more, recently sat for a cup of candid conversation with ETimes. During the same, the artist spoke about his musical journey, how he fell for music, and much more. The excerpts from the interview are below:

Music production or singing, what is your first love?

Beat Boi Deep mentioned that he is fond of both singing and music production; and it is hard for him to choose one. He said, “I was fond of singing in my childhood but since I was young, I did not have any music or studio available for recording, I had a computer at home. With the help of Youtube, I learned DAW software, where I made music for myself. Along with my studies, I had learned to make music, so I thought that in the beginning, music production would give me good knowledge in the industry. So for me, both things are important for my growth as a musician.”

The decision of being a musician

In the conversation, we asked the artist what made him decide that he wanted to make a career in the field of music. To this he replied, “‘I loved music since childhood, then slowly learned instruments, then after higher school, I learned classical music in college. After graduating in music, started my professional career as a musician”

Beat Boi Deep’s favorite song from his collection

Though it’s quite unfair to ask a parent to pick his favorite child, we wanted to know which of Deep’s songs is the closest to his heart. “I like my all songs but my first track ‘Kkajla’ certainly holds a special place. Sung by Gurpreet Chattha, it was made when I was studying in the 11th class. It almost has 20 million + views. So it was my first and big achievement in the music industry,” said the artist.

Upcoming projects

Last but not least, Beat Boi Deep shared with us his upcoming projects, and we will have to say he seems to have a promising lineup ahead. “I have so many upcoming songs in the pipeline. Afsana Khan (Bigg Boss Fame ) X Beat Boi Deep song ‘Pakke Dheeth’ coming in May, ‘Khatre’ with her releasing soon, ‘Walk Like Dad’ with Romey Maan on May 15, ‘Chobbar’ with Gurlej Akhtar to be released in June and ‘Vailpuna’ with Deepak Dhillon in July,” concluded Beat Boi Deep.
