A musical tribute to Bhagat Singh on his 111th birth anniversary

Not everyone has the guts to face the death rope with a smile that too at a young age of just 23. However, here we are talking about no mere men but Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, who feared none when it came to the pride of the nation, freedom of the country. The acts of his valor still stand as the example of a true national hero. Today on the 111th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh, let’s recall the legendary with melodies dedicated solely to him:

The track talks about the generation that has the same fire like Veer Bhagat Singh and thus, is not scared to stand against wrong. At the same time, there are lines that say the nation still needs Bhagat Singh, and we just wish we could have him back.

‘Veer Bhagat Singh’ by Anmol Gagan Maan

Over the time a lot of songs have been made to pay a tribute to Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, but what makes this track different is the angle with which it has been crafted. Sung by Anmol Gagan Maan, the song tells the tale of Bhagat Singh’s sister Amar Kaur when she meets her brother in jail for the last time. It elaborates how proud she felt of her brother. At the same time, it had words that said all she wanted from him at that time was to stand as strong as possible, as he has been for so long.
