#WhatIf ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ was made in Punjabi with THIS star cast

Hello ETimes readers! We are back with another edition of #WhatIf, wherein we give a Punjabi twist to popular Bollywood movies. Today, we will be talking about a very famous 90s popular movie - ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. There is no doubt that the trio of Shahrukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Kajol did wonders, but we guess we have a list of the right Punjabi stars who can fit the bill!

Ammy Virk as Rahul

Rahul was the stud of college, the casanova who knew his ways around girls. He was a big-time flirt, but when he met the girl of his dreams he made sure to never let her go. This character was very well played by Shahrukh Khan, and in Pollywood, this character can be effortlessly played by Ammy Virk. The actor has innocence in his eyes with a tinge of mischief; he knows both how to flirt and how to confess true feelings. So we believe, he can be a good fit, what do you say?

Shehnaaz Gill as Anjali

Anjali was the tomboy of college. She played basketball, she could do anything for her best friend Rahul. Least did she know that her feelings for Rahul were actually love, but by the time she could confess, it was a little late. And then years later, when we see Anjal again, she is seen as a quintessential Hindi film heroine, with a plain saree, long hair, and a fresh face of makeup. Now imagine Shehnaaz Gill playing the tomboy and then unveiling her diva side! Mere thinking about it offers a big dose of entertainment!

Neeru Bajwa as Tina

Tina was the new girl in the block. With her on-point fashion sense and amazing personality made her the center of attention in no time. Now think of a Punjabi diva who can pull this off effortlessly! The first name that comes to mind is Pollywood Queen Neeru Bajwa. Of late she has proved that she is the most fashionable diva in the town, and we believe she can make a perfect Tina.

Rabab Kaur as young Anjali

The young Anjali played by Sana Seed was the cutest character in the movie. Her innocence was unmatched and therefore, it wasn’t easy for her to find a Punjabi name for the young Anjali, util we considered Rabab Kaur. Rabab has given a fabulous performance in ‘Sufna’, and we know she can pull off this character as well. Don’t you agree?
