It seems like the idea of a solo lead romancing two actresses is picking pace in Pollywood. Perhaps that is why in some of the highly anticipated and upcoming Punjabi projects, we will be seen one male lead and two female leads.

‘Saukan Saunkane’
Announced in 2019, ‘Saunka Saunkane’ is one of the much anticipated Punjabi movies. In this film the trio of Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, and Nimrat Khaira. This is the first time these three will be seen sharing the screen together. Though the makers haven’t revealed the plot, from the title and BTS it appears that in the movie, Sargun Mehta will be Ammy’s first wife and Nimrat Khaira will be his second. ‘Qismat 2’
In ‘Qismat’ we saw Ammy Virk romancing Tania and Sargun Mehta, and in ‘Qismat 2’, the same trio will be again seen bringing the love triangle back on the screen. However, this time the only difference that the audience is expecting is a little more screen time for Tania. And considering her last outing and her time spent on the sets of the movie, it appears that the expectations will be met.

‘Kali Jotta’
Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Kali Jotta’ is another highly awaited movie of Punjab. It will be featuring Neeru Bajwa, Satinder Sartaaj and Wamiqa Gabbi. This is the first time these three are coming together. The plot of the movie hasn’t been revealed, but it is being touted that in the movie Satinder Sartaaj will be seen romancing Neeru Bajwa and Wamiqa Gabbi.

‘Kikli’
Bringing the real-life BFFs Mandy Takhar, Jobanjeet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, ‘Kikli’ is another Punjabi movie that will have a solo male lead opposite two actresses. The shoot of the movie has been completed, but anything related to the plot hasn’t been revealed. However, reports suggest that the movie will feature a love triangle.
