Model actress Simran Kaur Mundi and Gurickk Maan got blessed with their firstborn this week. They became parents to a handsome baby boy. The new mother Simran Kaur Mundi said in a conversation with ETimes, “Gurickk and I have been blessed with a baby boy. Delivered in Mumbai. Both baby and I are doing fine.”
A new movie featuring Gurnam Bhullar and Roopi Gill announced
This week a number of Punjabi movies made headlines, and one of them was 'Superstar'. Starring Gurnam Bhullar and Roopi Gill, the movie is slated to release on July 14, 2023. For this film, Ksshitij Chaudhary has donned the director's hat. Further details on the project are awaited.
Soch Toh Parey - Another new movie announced
Another film that was announced this week is 'Soch Toh Parey'. Director Pankaj Verma who gained fame through 'Ikko Mikke', will be helming the movie. Further, Dheeraj Kumar, Isha Rikhi, and Raghveer Boli are in the lead. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
Teaser of 'Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye'
The makers of 'Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye' served the audience with the movie's teaser. Giving a glimpse into the content-rich drama, the teaser left the audience wanting for more. Starring Neeru Bajwa, Kulwinder Billa, Aditi Sharma, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Jass Bajwa, and Rupinder Rupi, the movie is slated to release on 24 March 2023.
'Godday Godday Chaa' got a release date
'Godday Godday Chaa' starring Sonam Bajwa, Tania, and Gitaz Bindrakhia, got a release date this week. To be released on May 26, 2023, the film has been written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, (the duo that give the National Award Winning movie 'Harjeeta').
Sharing about the movie, director Vijay said, "'Godday Godday Chaa' is a heart-warming satire on the male-dominated society of the 90s. It depicts how women took a stand for themselves and created a breakthrough. We are sure the audiences are going to love the film!"
