They say that the lockdown has put a pause on everything and every field. However, when it comes to the Punjabi entertainment world, the wheel is still spinning. All thanks to artists like Gippy Grewal, Neeru Bajwa, Ammy Virk, and more who are keeping us hooked with their songs and videos.

​Gippy Grewal

It seems like lockdown has only affected Gippy Grewal’s movies and not music. The artist has been releasing singles right from the beginning of this phase. His first single in the lockdown was ‘Nach Nach’ which featured several stars including Neeru Bajwa, Sargun Mehta, Parmish Verma, Babbal Rai, and more, and his last was ‘Me & U’ starring Tania. Next, he has announced another number ‘Vair’, which will be a proper bhangra packed track.

​Ammy Virk

Amid the lockdown, Ammy Virk has released two songs - ‘Tod Da E Dil’ and ‘Main Suneya’. Both the songs are sad romantic numbers. The audio of the former was released when the lockdown began, but later considering the love it got, Ammy Virk also released the video of the same. The video of the song had Mandy Takhar opposite Ammy. Further, Ammy also keeps his fans entertained by releasing covers of the songs sung by legendary artists. Besides, on the occasion of his birthday, he even announced his new movie ‘Hukma’, which will go on the floors post lockdown.

​Jassie Gill

Jassie Gill also released his first song of 2020 amid lockdown. Titled ‘Enha Chunni Aa’, the song is a sweet love ballad. It starred Sara Gurpal opposite the songster, and the whole video was shot on a smartphone. Thereafter, he released another song ‘Keh Gayi Sorry’. Starring him and Shenaz Gill, the song was a sad romantic number.

​Neeru Bajwa

Pollywood queen Neeru Bajwa is spending the quarantine with her family. The actress generally stays busy with her three beautiful girls - Aanaya, Aalia, and Aakira, but then too she finds time out to indulge in something more. Amid the lockdown, she featured in Gippy Grewal’s song ‘Nach Nach’, and post that she produced her song ‘Jitange Hosle Naal’. The latter was a motivational song in which several Punjabi divas featured and gave out a positive vibe.

​Sargun Mehta

Sargun Mehta is also keeping herself and her fans busy with many entertaining things. She has featured in three songs so far, ‘Nach Nach’, ‘Jitange Hosle Naal’ (Punjabi), and ‘Toxic’ (Hindi). Besides, the actress keeps sharing her dance videos on her social media handle, which work as an absolute treat for her fans.
