Diljit Dosanjh introduces his mother and sister for the FIRST time at the Manchester concert
Global sensation Diljit Dosanjh has been in the news lately owing to his sold-out concerts. The singer who is making waves both in and outside of India is selling out stadiums and arenas with his performance. Besides his infectious energy, it is his interaction with the fans and moments where he lets some of the lucky ones come onto the stage that make him garner all the more love. Overwhelmed fans have often been seen crying at the concert as well, or getting emotional as Diljit touches the chord with a sentimental song. However, this time it wasn’t a song that brought tears to the eyes of his fans, but the moment when Diljit Dosanjh for the first time introduced his mother and sister during the concert.
Yes, you read that right! Diljit Dosanjh while performing at Manchester, stepped down from the stage, came closer to the fans, and then he was seen hugging an elderly lady dressed in a white suit. Earlier it appeared she was just a fan, but then Diljit took her hand, raised it in the air, and announced, “by the way, this is my mom.” He then bowed down and sang a few lines of his song ‘Hass Hass.’ He then saw his mother getting all emotional, so he hugged her tight, and kissed her on the forehead, while one could notice tear drops falling off her eyes.
He then moved ahead and held the hand of another beautiful lady, who whispered something as Diljit sang. And then the singer introduces her as well - “She is my sister.”
The crowd cheered for both Diljit's mother and sister and the moment is being called all things emotional as this is the first time the ‘Chamkila’ star has introduced his family members in public.
Those who know Diljit, know it for a fact that he is a very private person. Once during his interaction with Film Companion, he said he doesn’t share pictures of his family, because in his line of work, he also faces a lot of hatred and when people are upset with an artist they never think twice before targeting his or her family. Therefore, he keeps his family life private.
However, in this recent emotional moment, Diljit Dosanjh a devoted son and brother, couldn’t keep his calm and introduced the two most important ladies of his life during the concert.
On the work front, Diljit will be seen in 'Border 2.' He will star alongside Sunny Deol. At the same time, in Pollywood he has 'Sardarji 3' in the pipeline.
