They had got married a little over a month ago in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony and lovebirds and co-actors of popular Marathi
play
'
Amar Photo Studio
' fame —
Suvrat Joshi and
Sakhi Gokhale — are already bearing the pangs of separation. Yes, his
baiko has left India to resume her studies in the UK, and Suvrat has already thought of ways to battle the
tanhaiyaan.“On Monday, my wife left for London, where she will continue her Masters’ degree programme in art curation and exhibition management,” shares Suvrat and adds, “It will be tough to stay away for her, but then both of us have been practising the science of managing alone for the past six months. In a true millennial marriage, you have to support your partner and help him/her achieve the personal goals and dreams too.”
Interestingly, the devoted husband has already made a fool-proof plan to battle the loneliness woes. He reveals them, saying, “I will drown myself in work so that I don’t miss Sakhi. Right now I’m focussed on the post production work of Mrunmayee Deshpande’s untitled directorial debut. Along with
Marathi
play, 'Amar Photo Studio', I’m also doing many shows of Hindi play, '
Shahi Pehredar
'; it leaves me with very little time to brood.”
The actor, however, admits that despite such a hectic work schedule, there will still be several moments when he will fiercely miss his wife. “I will keep the home, just the way she likes it to ensure her presence around me. As it is when Sakhi is around, I don’t get to keep the home in order although that’s what I love to do. But when it gets really unbearable, we will keep visiting each other,” says Suvrat.
