Ankush Chaudhari is a popular face in the Marathi industry. Donning multiple hats of an actor, director and a stage artist, he has a very easy going personality and loves doing unusual roles. He made his debut in the Marathi films with ‘Soona Yeti Ghara.'. After that, he has been able to keep up with the industry through his versatile and best performances in some of the movies. Let’s have a look at some of his box-office hits.

'Duniyadari'

'Duniyadari', a Sanjay Jadhav directorial movie, had a refreshing storytelling with some amazing performances. Set against the backdrop of the late 70s, he introduces us to his lead characters in a Pune college campus. Digya, (Ankush Chaudhary) and Shreyas (Swapnil Joshi), Shireen (Sai Tamhankar) and Meenu (Urmila Kanetkar). Confusion, pathos, sacrifice and the mystery of love too are portrayed well and engage the audience for most of the time. This friendship story was a box-office hit.

'Double Seat'

'Double Seat', a Sameer Vidwans directorial movie, is the one with a simple plot and surprisingly not many filmmakers have tried exploring this. It deals with the struggle of a middle-class couple trying to find a home in the city of Mumbai. The immediate-post-marriage romance between the lead couple Amit and Manjiri, played by Ankush Choudhary and Mukta Barve is presented in a nice format. This simple, yet light, entertainer made it a success at the box-office.
4/7

'Daagdi Chaawl'

A Chandrakant Kanse directorial, 'Daagdi Chaawl' has everything; action, drama and romance. The story is about the life of Daddy gangster ‘Arun Gawli’and Ankush Chaudhari who plays a son of a police constable who gets dragged into the underworld. All actors have done a fair job and the movie was a blockbuster.
5/7

'Classmates'

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, 'Classmates' features Ankush Chaudhari and Sai Tamhankar. This film is an official remake of the Malayalam movie 'Classmates'. Quality of acting is pretty high throughout the film. Ankush and Sai Tamhankar had performed relatively well, and have definitely contributed significantly to the film’s success. This movie is a mass entertainer and a must watch the movie for people who love thriller films, mixed with a bit of fun.
6/7

'Deva'

'Deva' is an official remake of the Malayalam film 'Charlie'. Murali Nallappa directorial, this film starred Ankush Chaudhari, Tejaswini Pandit and Spruha Joshi in lead roles. The plot revolves around the character Maya who is struggling for a good story for her next book. In this process, she comes across the story of Deva, a man with a heart of gold. Tejaswini and Ankush put in their heart in their roles which made film worth the watch.
7/7

'Guru'

A Sanjay Jadhav directorial, 'Guru' gets full marks for evoking cheers and whistles from the masses. Marathi films are mostly known for strong content. There are films like these that break out to give viewers a purely entertaining experience. Chaudhary carries his acquired ‘superstar of Marathi cinema’ status quite well. The hero here is the large-hearted conman who has tricks ready to squeeze out of the most difficult situations. But when he witnesses the murder of an honest man at the hands of a corrupt businessman his world turns upside down and then his fight is worth the watch.
