Amruta's most popular cat-fights

Popular for her acts in 'Vajale Ki Bara' from 'Natarang' actress Amruta Khanvilkar din't have a single release last year. This year however seems to be promising for her fans as she is shooting for the first Marathi superhero film 'Baji' and Subodh Bhave's directorial debut 'Katyar Kaljat Ghusli'. The pretty actress has had a number of cat-fights with her contemporary actresses. Here is a look at those that made news.

Sonalee:

Amruta and Sonalee are arch rivals.. Post Ravi Jadhav's 'Natarang', Sonalee's career graph shot up while Amruta couldn't manage to live up to the expectations. Sonalee was the lead heroine of the film while Amruta had done an item number in the film. Though the actresses are cordial with each other publicly things are not all well between the two. If sources are to be believed the girls have had problems even during events where they performed together.

Tejaswini Pandit:

Amruta and Tejaswini acted together in Satish Rajwade's 'Gaiir' and the girls went on to become best friends. Things changed after Tejaswini's marriage. The 'Mi Sindhutai Sapkal' actress did a photo shoot which didn't go well with Amruta and the actresses fell apart. Apparently Tejaswini was hurt when Amruta had not even enquired about her when she was hospitalised after getting detected with dengue in 2013. Both the actresses attribute it to their hectic schedules for not being able to catch up with each other.

Sai Tamhankar:

Sai and Amruta are contemporaries. Both had their share of limelight in Bollywood as well as Marathi films. The actresses even acted together in Ankush Choudhary's 'Zhakaas'. There was absolutely no buzz about the problems between the actresses during the making of the film. However, the things seem to have turned sour later. Amruta was approached for a couple of films which ultimately landed in Sai's lap. 'No Entry - Pudhe Dhoka Aahey' and 'Pune 52' are among the prominent examples. Amruta was evidently extremely upset with filmmakers for choosing Sai over her. Though the girls have been cordial with each other in the public eye, all is not well between them.

Bhargavi Chirmule:

Amruta and Bhargavi had participated in the popular celebrity reality dance show 'Eka Peksha Ek' based on public voting. There were a few other actresses as well who had participated in that season but Bhargavi and Amruta made it to the finale. Amruta lost the title to Bhargavi by a few votes. The loss didn't go down well with the pretty actress and she said, "Bhargavi won because of sympathy. I was more deserving." The girls later sorted out the issues and are cordial with each other again.
