'Ti and Ti': Here's why you shouldn’t miss the Mrinal Kulkarni directorial

Marathi cinema's popular actor-director, Mrinal Kulkarni has treated us all with the first trailer of his upcoming venture, 'Ti and Ti'. Produced under the banner of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures in association with Goosebumps Entertainment & Hyperbees Media Pvt.td, the film is co-produced by Anand Pandit, Pushkar Jog and Mohan Naddar. The previously released trailer and posters had caught everyone's attention. The film is slated to hit the screens on March 8, 2019. Right from its quirky concepts to the stupendous performances of the actors, we give you a rundown of reasons as to why you shouldn’t miss watching the film.

Rom-Com

The two-minute-and-thirty-seconds clip of Mrinal Kulkarni's directorial 'Ti and Ti' opens with a flashback where Anay Pandit (Pushkar Jog) who is married to Saie ( Prarthana Behere) is narrating his childhood love story with Priyanka (Sonali Kulkarni). The story begins when he meets Sonalee in London when the couple is actually on their honeymoon. Going by trailer, the story revolves around Pushkar and his two leading ladies that make us wonder if it will bring another love triangle to the big screen.

Pushkar Jog

The actor-director, Pushkar Jog is a well established Marathi actor, who has also featured in many popular Marathi cinemas. Pushkar made his acting debut at a tender age of four with the Marathi cinema as a child artist. And as a star, he made his debut with the film, 'Jabardast' in 2007. In his upcoming film, 'Ti and Ti', he is all set to take the audience on a rollercoaster ride with a brilliant performance. Pushkar, who is playing the lead role in the film, has also produced it.

Prarthana Behere

One of the leading ladies of the Marathi film industry, Prarthana Behere has always been appreciated for her stellar performances on the silver screen. Prarthana has always impressed the audience whenever she has appeared on the big screen. In Mrinal Kulkarni's directorial, 'Ti and Ti', she will be playing a prominent role along with Pushkar Jog and Sonalee Kulkarni. And recently, actress opened up about working with director Mrinal Kulkarni. Speaking about the same, she said, "I have worked with many directors but for the first time I was working under a female director whom I have always admired. I have seen several of her films where Mrinal Kulkarni performed as an actress and director. And she is one of my favourite directors with whom I would love to work with."

Actor-turned-director Mrinal Kulkarni is one of the most multitalented and versatile actresses in the Marathi film industry. Being a powerhouse of talent, the star has also bagged projects in both, Marathi and Hindi entertainment industries. She has directed films like ‘Yellow’, 'Rama Madhav', ‘A Rainy Day’, and ‘Farzand’. As Mrinal has dealt with themes of depression, greed, friendship and love in a beautiful manner, it’s natural to expect her to do so in this one too.
