enjoyed a kelvan (pre-wedding feast) hosted by their friends before heading to their respective hometowns. “Juilee is in Pune. Pre-wedding festivities have kick-started in both our households. Our families are really excited about the big day,” says Rohit, who is currently in Nagpur, adding, “Our wedding will be a three-day affair, including the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies. Considering the current situation, we are being extremely cautious and the wedding will happen by following all COVID-19 protocols.”

Rohit and Juilee were initially supposed to tie the knot in November 2019. But the date was pushed and the pandemic further delayed the wedding. “We had decided on the wedding venue as well,” shares Rohit, adding that he is looking forward to this new chapter of his life. “Juilee and I met 12 years ago. We were very good friends before we fell in love. After two years of being in a relationship, we told our parents as well. We treat each other as equals. Juilee has been a solid support in my life. A few years ago, we moved in together. In fact, the pandemic gave us the opportunity to know each other even better. We have been by each other’s side in the best and toughest times and have only grown closer,” says Rohit.
