Based on Gauri Deshpande's short story

Gauri Deshpande is one of the major names of Marathi literature. Her semi-autobiographical and fictional work is among the finest pieces of Marathi feminist writing. 'Aamhi Doghi' is based on her short story 'Paus Ala Motha'. 'Aamhi Doghi' spans over a period of two decades. The biggest achievement here is the treatment of Savi’s character.
