The teaser of 'Sarsenapati Hambirrao' focuses on the titular character of Hambirrao Mohite, played by Pravin Tarde himself.
Talking about the film, 'Sarsenapati Hambirrao' is based on the life of an unsung warrior Hansaji Mohite, who was the military commander of the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He was conferred with the title 'Hambirrao' by Shivaji Maharaj.
Produced under the banner of Shivneri Foundation which belongs to Sandip Mohite who happens to be the descendant of Hambirrao Mohite. It features stars like Pravin Tarde and Shruti Marathe in key roles.
