'Mann Fakiraa', starring Suvrat Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Ankit Mohan and Anjali Patil, happens to be one of the most awaited films of the year. Mrunmayee Pratibha Deshpande's debut directorial 'Mann Fakiraa' is a four-dimensional love story interlinked between the young and liberal.

Owing to its overwhelming response, the makers of the film have decided to release the movie on March 6. Right from its concept to the stellar performances which is visible in the trailer of the film itself, we give you a rundown of reasons as to why you shouldn’t miss watching this film.

'Quirky concept'

'Mann Fakiraa' is an unconventional love story. This is a journey of unconventional people. It's a movie for today's generation. If the spouses' past stands in front of them on their wedding night and they have the chance of going back to their exes, what would they do? That's what we explore through the film.

Mrunmayee Deshpande's debut as a director

Mrunmayee Deshpande, who has acted in several films and TV serials, will make her foray into direction with the upcoming ' Mann Fakiraa'. While speaking to Etimes, Mrunamayee said "It was a rollercoaster ride for me and had a wonderful experience while filming my first film as a director. Earlier, I had directed several short films and dramas. And I always wanted to be a director and I was cashing my dream for the last seven years."

Sayali Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi to share screen space for the first time

This is the first time we will see Sayali Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi sharing screen space together. The actor has delivered stellar performances like 'Dohkyala Shot', 'Shikari', 'Party', etc. On the other hand, the actress showcased her acting prowess in films like 'Aatpadi Nights', and 'Daah'.

'Out-of-the-box promotions'

The actors of Mann Fakiraa along with director Mrunmayee took to the streets of Pune to promote their upcoming film. They gathered at Good Luck Chowk on FC Road with placards, attempting an unusual way to promote their film. The actors appealed to the people to watch the film and support Marathi cinema.

The placards mention that Mann Fakiraa is a good film and not watching the film in theatres will be a big mistake. It also notifies the release date of the film.

'Star Cast'

The trailer of the film has very successfully given us a glimpse into each one of the characters in the film. While Bhushan (Suvrat Joshi) plays a lead, Riya (Sayali Sanjeev) plays his wife. Mahi (Anjali Patil) plays his love interest. Nachiket (Ankit Mohan) plays as a boyfriend of Sayali Sanjeev before she gets married to Suvrat. All the characters in the movie have their own prominence and each in their own way contribute to the story of the film. And this certainly is one of the major highlights of the movie.
