Kargil Vijay Diwas: From Swapnil Joshi to Pritam Kagne, here’s how Marathi celebs remembered Kargil martyrs

Every year 26th July is celebrated as the Kargil Vijay Diwas and is remembered for the success of Operation Vijay in the 1999 Kargil War. On this day, 20 years ago, India had won the war against the neighbouring nation. Many of our jawans gave their lives while fighting for their motherland.

On the patriotic occasion, many of our Marathi stars have taken to social media to express their gratitude to our armed forces and to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War.

The Marathi diva, Pritam Kagne who is gearing up to play a lead role in 'Ahilya' based on the life of police officer, also shared the picture of her dressed in commando uniform as a tribute to the martyrs of the Kargil War. She wrote "Salute to the selfless heroes on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas! ��"
