'Ishwari Deshpande' to 'Anand Abhyankar'; Marathi stars who died in car accidents
The Marathi film industry was rattled once again after budding actress Ishwari Deshpande, who had gone to Goa with her friend Shubham Dadge, died in a car accident. According to the reports, the mishap occurred on a Monday (Sept 20) in the Bardez taluka.

'Ishwari Deshpande'
Actress Ishwari Deshpande who had travelled to Goa with her friend Shubham Dadge, died in a car accident in Goa on Monday, September 20. According to the reports, the mishap occurred near Arpora or Hadfade village in the Bardez taluka.
The reports also suggest that Ishwari had completed the shoot of Hindi and Marathi projects, a few days ago.

Actor Anand Abhyankar, known for 'Carry On, 'Munna Bhai' (2006), 'Vaastav: The Reality (1999)' died in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on December 24, 2012. According to reports, the accident occurred when a rashly driven tempo rammed into the Wagon R car coming in the opposite (Pune-Mumbai) lane.

Marathi playback singer Geeta Mali died in an accident on the Mumbai-Agra highway in the Thane district on November 15, 2019. According to the reports, the incident took place when she was heading for Nashik, her hometown, after returning from the US when the car in which she and her husband Vijay were ramped into a heavy vehicle parked alongside the road.
Both Geeta and her hubby Vijay were seriously injured and taken to Shahpur hospital. The singer died during the treatment.

According to reports, Pendse's wife Deepti, who was also in the same vehicle sustained minor injuries and was discharged after the treatment.
