Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated to honour the elephant-headed God Ganesha, is considered auspicious throughout India. It is widely celebrated in Mumbai, especially in the Marathi community. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, this year it is going to be a low-key affair.
